Wollastonite

Wollastonite is a typical metamorphic mineral, mainly produced in the contact zone of acid rocks and limestone, but also found in deep metamorphic calcareous crystalline schists, volcanic eruptions and some alkaline rocks. Its chemical formula is CaSiO3, structure Ca3[Si3O9], theoretical chemical composition: CaO 48.25%SiO2 51.75%. Wollastonite belongs to a chain-like metasilicate, which is a triclinic crystal system, fine plate-like crystal, and the aggregate is radial or fibrous. Due to its special crystal structure, its properties are determined. It has the characteristics of non-toxic, acid and alkali resistance, low moisture absorption, low oil absorption, low conductivity, good insulation, high whiteness, good thermal stability and dimensional stability, excellent mechanical and electrical properties, etc, natural green, low-carbon and energy-saving industrial mineral raw materials.

Series A- Wollastonite Class A Small Pieces

Wollastonite A- grade small piece is a wollastonite concentrate with a loss on ignition of 1-3. It is a high-quality wollastonite product. Its loss on ignition is controlled in a lower range, showing higher purity and stability. Wollastonite concentrate is mainly composed of calcium metasilicate (CaSiO), which has the structure of chain silicate, which gives it unique physical and chemical properties.

Hardness (Mohs) Hardness (Mohs):4.5-5.0

SA Series-Wollastonite Superfine Powder

Wollastonite ultrafine powder, also known as wollastonite ultrafine powder, is a finely processed wollastonite powder. It typically has a particle size of less than 10 microns, a fibrous, needle-like morphology, and an aspect ratio of greater than 10:1. This powder is a white or slightly light gray inorganic non-metallic material with high whiteness, good insulation, dielectric properties, heat resistance and weather resistance.

B Series-Wollastonite Class B Pieces

Class B wollastonite block refers to the wollastonite block material with a loss on ignition of 4-8%, which is an inorganic non-metallic material with special physical and chemical properties. Its main component is calcium silicate (CaSiOover), and contains a certain amount of impurities, such as iron, manganese, magnesium and so on. Wollastonite block material is white or slightly light gray, with glass luster and pearl luster, hardness between 4.5~5.5, density of about 2.75~3.10g/cm³.
